Which plants are included – and why exactly these?

The formulation of the organic bitter drops combines ten plants and herbs that have been known in the European herbal tradition for centuries and have a firmly established place there.

The selection follows a clear principle: all plants included are organically certified, well-documented, and have been used in herbal medicine for generations. The focus is on classic bitter plants such as artichoke, dandelion, and gentian – plants known for their characteristically bitter taste. These are complemented by aromatic herbs such as rosemary, thyme, and lavender, as well as ginger, olive leaf, echinacea, and chamomile.

Organic glycerin is used exclusively as a carrier – a mild, plant-based solvent that completely dispenses with alcohol as an extraction agent.
